  1. Mac v1.19.2 · Windows v1.19.2

    Optional screen recording on Mac, a date-jump calendar, and a steadier app.

    • On Mac, you can optionally allow screen recording so drifty keeps the screens of TextEdit and Preview on your computer for 24 hours, and you can see what was on screen from an activity. It stays off until you choose it, screens never leave your computer, and a panel beside System Settings shows where to drag drifty to allow it.
    • Click the date in Your Day or Your Week to jump to any day or week from a calendar.
    • Deleting an activity from the detail panel asks in place, with Cancel beside Delete.
    • The first screen's language switch is a compact globe button, permission setup is calmer, and Settings sidebar icons share one size.
    • On Mac, drifty no longer quits when macOS can't open its file window. On-device AI handles long category descriptions, and a slow AI server is reported as a timeout.

    A richer Projects library, more control over your day view, and Teams invitations by email or link.

    • Choose the previous Day/Week layout in Settings. When a day is empty, Your Day explains the recording state beside the current-time line.
    • Projects gains a paged library with work-log detail, and you can edit Your Day one card at a time.
    • Dates and long Breakdown labels are easier to read, Chat input and waiting states are refined, settings and credits are clearer, and drifty remembers its window size.
    • Pro adds personal API keys for your own opted-in synced records.
    • In Teams, invite by email or share a link, and review the sharing settings before you join. Chat and Teams remain beta features.
    • With usage statistics on and an account signed in, drifty keeps a contact profile for product update emails, as described in the Privacy Policy. Turning usage statistics off stops this.
    • Codex waits for drifty's record tools before answering, and Mac browser scans are lighter and recover delayed observations more reliably.

    A clearer day view, more recording controls, and tighter privacy for excluded activity.

    • Hours-down is now the default day view, with date navigation and restored reading positions.
    • Choose recording hours, exclude private browser windows, and adjust window sizing and zoom in Settings. On Mac, choose whether the Dock icon stays visible after you close the window.
    • Chat gains improved composition, model and effort selection, and document attachments. Teams gains sharing dashboards and managed-hours recording status. Chat and Teams remain beta features.
    • Attached document bodies are kept out of Chat improvement records.
    • Excluded activity, including its timing and order, stays out of recent AI context. Corrections to excluded activity stay out of AI refinement and persistent memory learning; local classification is separate. Previously learned memories are not automatically removed.
    • Fixes personal-hours presence in Teams, PDF attachment reading on Mac.
    • On Windows, ordinary window titles containing “InPrivate” no longer cause recording to be excluded just because of the title.

    One AI connection, your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, and your saved sign-in when you start offline.

    • One AI connection handles classification, projects and Day/Week titles, including Drifty’s managed local model; the separate project and title model setting is gone.
    • Connect OpenAI or Anthropic with your own API key as that AI connection.
    • Drifty opens with your saved sign-in when you start it offline or while its sign-in server is unreachable, and Pro members see no upgrade card meanwhile.
    • Rename a task right in its pinned card on Your Day and Your Week. With your consent, Drifty for iPhone can turn this computer’s sync on, and off again.
    • Billing, update, Memory and rule results appear in place, Settings › Account is more compact, and the collapsed sidebar uses square icon buttons. A sidebar card introduces Drifty for iPhone, coming November 16.
    • On Mac, tracking start recovery is lighter and can be cancelled. On Windows, manual installs show the Visual C++ runtime installer’s progress.

    • The Siamese pet keeps its markings while it runs, sits, dances or is picked up, instead of flashing to a plain white cat.
    • After you restart Drifty, your pet reliably appears again instead of sometimes staying hidden until you turn Show pet off and on.
    • On Windows, startup continues sooner when the main window is slow to open, a file in the place of the browser data folder reports an error instead of stalling on a dialog, and a blocking security policy now comes with guidance for your administrator. Crashes during window teardown and overlapping redraws are fixed.
    • Activity recording continues when temporary storage for browser history lookup is unavailable, and Mac foreground app detection falls back more reliably.

    • Day and Week describe each activity window with a timeline card built from the titles Drifty recorded, and you can hide a name that doesn’t fit.

    • Use the app and supported share cards in Spanish. Choose System appearance to follow Windows light or dark mode, and reach Classification, Intelligence and Memory directly in Settings.
    • Open a History record in Your Day or Your Week, delete it from its row menu, and inspect the records behind an Insights summary. Day and Week totals handle sampling, day boundaries and daylight-saving changes more consistently.
    • Built-in classification avoids unnecessary repeat saves. Local corrections remain intact during refresh, and delayed sync records do not restore deleted activity. Tracker and local database recovery are more reliable.
    • Windows updates stop before replacing app files if the tracker remains locked.

Tracker status and recording controls also recover reliably when reopening with a saved login. Memory has explicit Cancel and Save actions with clearer setup guidance.
    • Dialogs show keyboard hints and support Ctrl+Enter for multi-line forms. What's new opens from Settings when requested.
    • Ivory and Grey pet coats stay free; Charcoal, Apricot, Sage and Plum use Pro or trial access, while an already selected coat stays available.
    • Feedback includes bounded, filtered diagnostic logs by default, with a checkbox to leave them out. Importing older browser history spends less time blocking live capture.
    • Windows shutdown avoids a reentrant native event callback that could panic. This does not claim to fix every crash.

    • Upgrading opens one monthly/yearly Pro plan sheet. When a trial ends, a short daily note replaces the repeating full-screen window. Account settings has a Devices block with live sync status.
    • The sidebar is narrower, Your Day uses a fixed 4-minute timeline, and settings are simpler. Desktop pet settings can hide the quick controls on hover.
    • Your own app and site rules take priority over project AI review results. Silent updates replace a tracker that is still running, and the pet does less repeated work when checking clicks.
    • Windows crash records are sent with a minimal field set on the next launch to help diagnose problems. This does not claim to fix earlier crashes.
