  1. v1.10.1–1.10.7

    Manage saved classifications, recover AI downloads safely, and make weekly time and Pet controls easier to trust.

    • Saved classifications now have a dedicated Settings manager for editing, turning entries on or off, and searching the rules you have taught drifty.
    • Your Week keeps Unclassified time at the top of every Weekly breakdown bar.
    • If a local AI model download is interrupted, restart drifty and retry: completed files are recognized instead of downloading again.
    • Pet quick controls confirm an automatic-close pause or one-hour hide, and offer a retry when an action fails.
    • Custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints now share one Base URL and session key between Classification and Intelligence, while each task keeps its own model.
    • New Korean-system installs now open in Korean, with an English / 한국어 choice on the first Welcome screen.
    • Catching the desktop cat now defers same-drift automatic-close retries for 70 seconds, and one-shot actions use a clearer shared button shape.
    • Automatic classification now pauses when the selected AI route is unavailable, keeps raw tracking and manual edits running, and recovers the unclassified backlog when the connection returns.
    • Korean coverage now includes Teams workflow, project color controls, feedback, Account and Developer/CLI status, and remaining dashboard accessibility names.
    • Saved SSH agent sources keep collecting every 15 minutes while Drifty is running, and Memory now shows whether personalization is active, where it is stored, and the actual learned patterns.
    • Your Day usage ranks stay aligned, unused Project fields stay hidden until a project exists, and Today category/productivity edits remain saved.
    • The desktop cat keeps its held pose while you drag and shake it, reacts to sleeping drift, and no longer clips Pet Mode quick-control shadows.

    • Your Day and Your Week open the exact source record, so locally captured activity can be reclassified or deleted without making synced and preview data editable.
    • New projects start matching the latest seven days automatically, with clear queued, running, setup, and retry states under the same minimized-data privacy controls as classification.
    • Companion reacts more naturally, coordinates drift alerts and Automatic close across more browsers, and confirms when “Not a drift” becomes a learning signal.
    • Pro pass handoff and Your Agents navigation are more complete, while managed local AI reconnects reliably and now runs across supported Apple Silicon Macs from macOS 13 onward.

    Bring drift alerts into Companion, and keep cloud state safer by account.

    • Drift alerts now arrive through Companion, keeping the same intervention actions together on one consistent surface.
    • drifty can celebrate days estimated in the top 10% using anonymous aggregate opt-in leaderboard totals, without returning participant-level focus records.
    • Classification rules, Privacy & Data controls, dashboard sharing, Flow density, settings navigation, and leaderboard profile actions are clearer and more consistent.
    • Device sync is isolated more firmly by account, Cloud AI backs off before retrying unavailable requests, and onboarding completion is safer to retry.

    Delete your account yourself, and keep update checks on the screen you already have.

    • You can now delete your drifty account from Settings. Cloud billing and device sync stop, while local tracking history stays on this Mac.
    • Settings surfaces Memory and agent access, and the Pro plan chooser opens from the sidebar.
    • Checking for updates from the menu now uses the same native status card as the available-update prompt.
    • Cloud AI classification handles usage limits correctly, and the latest available update is the one that installs.
  5. v1.7.0

    Meet the live desktop cat, and keep every way back within reach.

    • The onboarding cat now uses the live desktop pet. Tap it to say hello and see the same heart reaction it uses on your desktop.
    • Projects keeps its help hint beside the question mark, with a softer explanation that no longer shifts the page title.
    • If Google sign-in is cancelled, slow, expired, or malformed, drifty returns to a clear retry action instead of requiring an app restart.
    • Automatic close now appears in both Drift alerts and Desktop pet settings. Both controls share one preference and stay unavailable until Drift alerts are on.

    Leave History with a clean slate, and keep the desktop pet on the toolbar.

    • Switching away from History now clears its search, so returning shows the newest local records instead of a stale filter.
    • Before choosing a resident seat, the desktop pet checks controls exposed through macOS Accessibility. It moves sideways when a safe same-row seat exists; dense toolbars keep the resident seat instead of pushing the pet into page content.

    See the conversation title, keep its contents private, and choose how drift intervenes.

    • Activity from the native ChatGPT and Codex apps can now show the current conversation title and, when available, its project title through macOS Accessibility. drifty reads neither messages, prompts, nor commands.
    • Site favicons now persist in a local cache, appear across Week, Trends, and drift-alarm details, and can be cleared from Privacy settings.
    • Onboarding introduces the desktop cat and lets you choose whether drifty only records, shows an alert, or closes the distracting tab or app after sustained drift.
    • Manual update checks now stay in native status and update dialogs, alongside clearer date navigation, Trends headings, sidebar labels, and menu-bar feedback.
  8. v1.6.6

    Bring more work context into focus, while keeping the private parts local.

    • Trial codes can now extend drifty Cloud access without a card, directly from Account settings.
    • Classification can use minimized workspace, document, channel, mail-folder, and conversation-title context on one bounded retry. Messages, prompts, commands, and direct-message names stay on this Mac.
    • The desktop pet gains a right-click menu and nearby-cursor gaze, while apps playing local audio can remain present after keyboard and pointer input goes idle without recording audio samples.
    • Onboarding, responsive typography, Dashboard and Settings layout, Trends context, and share-card metrics are clearer and more reliable.

    Keep the glass steady, and correct the day in place.

    • Empty Dashboard Breakdown, Team, onboarding, and access surfaces now use quieter inline guidance instead of dashed placeholders.
    • The sidebar glass no longer flickers; frost is drawn natively, and CSS keeps only the tint.
    • Classification corrections stay on the current app or row as an inline chip editor, including long URL matches.
    • Leaderboard celebrations can now fire for earned top-three finishes, and manual update checks stay on the screen you are already using.

    • Projects now centers on a clearer latest-seven-days allocation view, with more consistent editors, model state, and accessible trends.
    • Bounded Living Soul context learns owner-scoped work patterns so short work-related transitions are less likely to be treated as drift, while durable context and correction evidence stay on this Mac.
    • Companion, the desktop pet, Not a drift corrections, Week scrolling, and shared controls behave more reliably across the app.
    • Packaged builds can again restart automatically after installing an update and access on-device Living Soul and correction evidence. Updating from v1.5.2 or v1.6.0 may require one manual reopen.

    • Your Week now summarizes tracked time, sessions, peak day, and apps at a glance, including in shorter windows.
    • An explicit tracking pause now survives app quits and restarts until you choose Resume Tracking.
    • The optional desktop pet moves and reacts more naturally, while pause, recovery, and in-app update restarts are more reliable.

    • Save aggregate-only Day or Week focus cards as PNGs or share them to LinkedIn and X, while tracking pauses can now last 15, 30, or 60 minutes—or until you resume.
    • Companion now centers on the menu bar with display styles, a one-hour hide, Off, and direct recovery; Floating Companion remains available as a Dev preview.
    • An optional desktop pet brings six coats and four sizes, while stronger tracker recovery and steadier dashboard loading keep the daily workflow reliable.
